Dave Bedwell

Dave Bedwell joined with China's national flag container carrier ‘COSCO Container Lines' 23 years ago on June 16th, 1994. At COSCO, Dave held the position of Executive Vice President, in charge of COSCO's Canadian headquarters located in downtown Vancouver with inland subsidiary offices in both Toronto and Montreal.

Dave is very passionate about the current and future improvement of international trade moving through Canadian ports, particularly on BC's West Coast. He is a strong advocate of creating strategies to improve fluidity and velocity to Canada's Asia Pacific Gateway. Additionally, he is very well known in the local Vancouver's transportation community, having held positions in a variety of industry boards and committees.

David Cardin

David joined forces with Trakking founders to pursue his vision for a web-based container drayage marketplace and continues to work with marine and intermodal clients after concluding a long career with AP Moller-Maersk Group A/S.

He came to Toronto as President of Maersk's country organization, and is able to work across North America after taking Canadian citizenship. Previously working for Maersk in the U.S., Denmark and Mexico, his responsibilities included sales and marketing, liner operations, network development and vessel deployment plans, and vessel-sharing agreements in North America. As country head in Mexico and then Canada, he expanded services and port coverage, managed partnerships and acquisitions in 3PL logistics, an intermodal rail service from Manzanillo to Mexico City, started container trucking companies, and operated a container depot.

John Khajadourian

John has over 25 years of international experience in corporate finance, private equity and M&A. John previously worked at Brookfield Asset Management (a $300 billion dollar investment company) and currently is the principal and owner of Windrock Associates. John holds an Engineering degree from University of Toronto, and a MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Jared Friedman

Jared Friedman has spent the past 10 years of his career working for both boutique and global consulting firms, and specializes in business strategy, government operations, and business process design. Jared is focused on delivering high value client engagements to public sector organizations, having served 10 municipalities, provincial agencies, and federal agencies across B.C. in the last 5 years.

Jared is the former lead for KPMG Advisory's Public Sector Practice in British Columbia, and the founder of Advisory North – a consulting group focused on Fleet Management and Operations, which was recently acquired by Cascadia Partners. Jared holds an Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Cornell University.

Paul Hiom

Paul Hiom has more than 20 years of consulting experience in strategic analysis, corporate planning, capital planning, and operations analysis. He has worked with clients in a variety of different industries, with extensive focus on government, health care, transportation, logistics, and telecommunications.

Paul is the former Vancouver Lead Partner for KPMG Advisory, and a former Senior Partner with SECOR and RPO Management Consultants. He has led major projects requiring skillsets in business and technology transformation, finance, economics, and operations. Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Information Systems and a Master of Science in Business Administration in Operations and Logistics from the University of British Columbia.
